Growing Natives Garden Tour


Docents’ Duties

 

Docents are expected to:

  1. ✦Attend the orientation.

  2. ✦Contact the garden owner and arrange for a visit before the tour. The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the garden and its owner, and to pick up the tour t-shirt. The contact information will be provided once the garden assignments are finalized.

  3. ✦Review the plant list and any garden-specific handouts.

  4. ✦Arrive 15 minutes before assigned shift.

  5. ✦Wear your t-shirt.

  6. ✦Encourage and answer questions.

  7. ✦Lead guided tours of garden.
