Showcase Features: This spacious front and back garden is truly a showcase of water conservation. The garden includes a rainwater catchment system an a greywater reuse system. The meadow of native grasses and wildflowers needs no summer water, the redwood understory receives occasional irrigation, and the fruit trees and vegetable garden are irrigated with rainwater.

Other Garden Attractions: The front garden includes native wild ginger, two small redwood trees, and different types of ferns in the shade. ☺ Garden Talk: 12:00 PM - Alan Hackler, a Certified Greywater Installer, will be giving a talk on 'Laundry to Landscape Basics'. The discussion will provide an overview on home grewyater basics, such as installation, appropriate soaps, plants, tools, and parts needed to be successful. The talk will also cover local laws and regulations regarding greywater design and implementation.
